Procedures and Policies



Review process: All proposals will be blind-reviewed by at least two reviewers. Evaluation criteria include the following: topic (originality, significance, and relevance to the conference theme and the CAERDA mission), theoretical framework (rationale, literature review, and theoretical grounding), method (design, data collection, analytical procedure, and interpretation), significance (conclusion, implications, and contributions), quality of writing (clarity, organization, and style), and audience appeal (popularity and scholarship).
 

Notification: Proposal submitters will receive email notification of acceptance or rejection in January 2014 for the Philadelphia conference and March 2014  for the Xi'an conference . Only the submitter will receive this notification and detailed information on scheduling and logistics, etc. It is the responsibility of the submitter to inform co-authors of their proposal status and other relevant information. The submitter must also notify all presenters that they must register for the conference in order to present.
 

Withdrawal: If you are unable to attend the conference, you must notify the Conference Chair by February 9, 2014 (for the Philadelphia conference) or May 1, 2014 (for the Xi'an Conference) respectively to withdraw your presentation from the conference program. After dates, no withdrawal will be accepted. It is the responsibility of the presenter(s) to delegate another person to present.
