Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must conform to the style and requirements of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed.), which may be obtained from the American Psychological Association, 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002. Authors should use APA publication guidelines to eliminate bias in writing.

New Waves Journal employs an electronic submission, review, and production process. Authors should submit manuscripts by logging in at: http://www.caerda.org/journal/index.php/newwaves/index. Generally, manuscripts submitted for review should not exceed 30 pages, including references, tables, and figures.

The complete title of the manuscript and the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s) can only appear on the title page. Each manuscript should have an abstract of 100-150 words. Manuscripts submitted for review should not exceed 30 pages (including references, tables, and fugures), typed for 8-1/2 X 11 paper, double spaced, using font size 12, with one inch margin on all sides. They should be submitted in MS-Word, WordPerfect, or RTF format, and graphics should be submitted in TIFF, EPS, JPEG, PowerPoint, or PDF format. Publication decisions are typically made within 2-4 months from the date of receipt, pending on the revisions needed. After their manuscripts are accepted for publication, authors may be requested to provide additional information that can be posted on the CAERDA website.
