Sub-theme 1: Teaching and learning of
Chinese language in the U.S. and other non-Chinese-speaking
nations, particularly in elementary and public schools,
colleges, and universities;
Sub-theme 2: Experiences of children of Chinese
immigrant families in learning and adapting to education
and school systems in the U.S. and other non-Chinese-speaking
nations;
Sub-theme 3: Comparative studies of teaching and
learning experiences of Chinese and non-Chinese students
in various academic subjects under the influence of cultures
and languages. We also welcome research on these topics
with not only Chinese languages and cultures but also other
Asian cultures and languages.
